Strapped Up - was conceived over the course of three frustrating nights arguing with ourselves on what was fresh and new VS. Possible. We ended up with sort of a hat with tape all over it. Hard to see the finish but determined to make it happen we got it done. The end result is a hat with a fairly tall crown with a raised edge sporting some serious American Alligator straps from the front of the crown all the way off the rear brim.The edges of the Alligator straps are painted the color of the English Grosgrain ribbon for extra flair. We doubled up the ribbon and just draped it around the crown in such a way to catch the shadows. A small section of the crown is left naked to show the sweatband stitches and add dimension.
